While the cloud provides clever solutions for data storage, backup and disaster recover, it’s not without its drawbacks. Namely, the issue of WAN network latency and how it affects data migration. However, this can be tackled through the anywhere-acceleration that the Bridgeworks technology delivers.
Bridgeworks offers their stance on the situation: “Most people are of the opinion that acceleration through the Cloud can only be achieved through Cloud-storage gateways and/or WAN optimization: both of these approaches provide many benefits, but they also have their own limitations”
