MILLAU Unified SAN Bridges
iSCSI and Fibre Channel like all functionally similar technologies, have advantages and disadvantages over each other depending on the nature of the application. In the past, the only way to overcome this was by either selecting one technology over the other or by doubling up by running the two side technologies by side. However, with the introduction of the Millau product range, Bridgeworks has now removed the need for a compromise. By combining iSCSI and Fibre Channel SAN interfaces within the same Bridge, Bridgeworks has extended the functionality and choice for the End User by no longer having to make the choice of one technology or the other. With the Millau range of Bridges it is now possible to share target devices over both SAN technologies simultaneously.
